Too many employees? Not enough? Numerous companies struggle with determining what their optimal staffing level is. This article presents the case of an organization in Zimbabwe that was facing overstaffing and, therefore, unnecessary labor costs. Three consultants, working for IPC Consultants, came to the rescue. They analyzed the situation and eventually provided the company with a report with their optimal staffing levels, showing a potential overstaffing of 63 employees.
